The following assessment tools are available:

Body Composition Analysis

Total body weight is not a clear indication of overall health and chasing a number on the scale will fail to show changes in your body composition or where your overall health has improved.

Let’s ditch the number on the scale and focus on what is important.  It is not what you weigh. It is what you are made up of.

The InBody570 is a TGA approved medical device providing a fast, non-invasive segmental body composition scan.

Clinical Services DNA testing

Each of us are unique and science is showing that our wellness can be directly affected by our individual, inherent differences as well as diet, lifestyle choices and the environment we live in.

While the individual tailoring of treatment has always been a determining feature of functional and complementary medicine, advances in DNA testing technology means we now have the evidence base on which to select certain treatment intervention according to your unique genetic individuality.

Instead of using a one-size-fits-all approach, personalized medicine allows for individual tailored treatment protocols to achieve more positive outcomes.

In collaboration with BioCeuticals Clinical Services DNA testing is available for clients to add these clinical insights to their optimal wellness journey.

What is DNA testing and what does it mean for me?

DNA testing is a sophisticated investigative tool which identifies variations in genes. It allows us to work together to make a more informed health and lifestyle strategy.

Clinical Services DNA testing is not diagnostic and has not been developed to confirm or rule out suspected genetic conditions or disease.

An in-depth report is produced and discussed outlining the potential effects on areas within your genes called single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) obtained through a non-invasive sample from the body. It is important to remember that your genes are not your destiny!

Certain SNPs may indicate that some functional aspects of your biochemistry may be affected or altered and knowing this provides you with the opportunity to influence your susceptibility for disease. By utlising a more targeted and effective treatment protocol, including a tailored diet to meet certain nutritional needs, and certain lifestyle choices can set your body up for better health outcomes.
